Checking IN: I had a baby!

Dear Most Gentle Readers 😜

I hope this message finds you well! 😊

(Who else here is a Bridgerton fan? We need to talk about season 3!)

I've been quiet lately, and for good reason—a few weeks ago, I welcomed my precious baby girl into the world! And she is absolutely perfect.

This has been an incredible blessing, especially after years of waiting and praying. Although I'm overjoyed, there are bittersweet moments, too, as my new daughter resembles her angelic sister, Journey, whom we miss dearly. Cherishing my short time with Journey has been a source of gratitude amid all the emotions.

My pregnancy kept me on bed rest, which led me to pause our monthly virtual meetups. Then, delivery brought unexpected challenges. I faced complications and needed a longer hospital stay due to hemorrhaging and a necessary blood transfusion. Let me tell you, a C-section is far from easy—it's major surgery!

Post-delivery, my incision opened up, requiring ongoing care from a wound specialist. It's been a journey, but things are improving, thankfully.

Despite these hurdles, this season of life is profoundly beautiful. I'm relishing every moment with my three children at home and one angel watching over us. Being able to focus on family without the rush of work or business has been a true blessing.

Amid late-night feeds and midday naps, I've found time for spiritual reflection and time to write, which is a big deal for me. Stay tuned for that.

I'd love to catch up with you all as well. What have you been up to? Any Vacations? If you haven't already, JOIN the private Facebook Women Accountability Group and Let's chat!

Have an amazing week on purpose, Reader!

A room service tray with fruit sitting on an unmade hotel room bed

Hey Reader, It's Monday again, but don't let that discourage you! Recently, my husband blessed me in an unexpected way. He encouraged me to book a hotel and spend the weekend alone just to recharge. As an introvert, I can’t even explain how much I needed that time. But here’s the thing—I used to feel guilty about taking a break. Maybe you can relate? I’ve since learned that stepping away isn’t selfish; it’s actually necessary for our well-being. In fact, even Jesus withdrew from the crowds to...
